Africa’s underlying problem is not neocolonialism but rather official corruption and bad governance,which started from Nkrumah’s regime and absence of technology to extract and add value to our natural resources in Africa,if now fragmented Africa in future becomes a single entity and the underlying problems,especially bad governance now inhibiting economic growth in individual Africa countries persist the continent would still be an empty giant. So the focus must be on good governance in individual Africa countries now,before long lasting africa union can be realized.

After watching KSM I feel we are led by evil leaders and brainless leaders. When elders in the community are thieves, they don't deserve respect. Respect is a two-way street. We both give. Age doesn't make you smart. Ghanaian leaders have proven that timelessly. They all have plans but when they get the power, they decide to keep the people in poverty so the citizens will always be beggars. Elected officials are there to serve the citizens not the other way round. The concept of government is misunderstood by Ghanaians. They are servants. They chose to serve and shouldn't be worshipped.

JM and the NDC have great ideas

Ghana has a history of mismanaging factories and other Govt resources through corruption and nepotism. The referenced factories should have Public Private partnership for efficiency and Accountability so we don't waste our limited resources.

The magic wand lies in slashing the price of petrol by 50%, all imports by 50%. All manufacturing sectors should start working 24 hours. Bring back all the sugar and salt factories. Bring back the meat and tomato processing now and not tomorrow. Introduce plantation farming. That is my contribution.

The amount frozen products Ghana imports every year is unbelievable.

What about poultry???

KSM ,we import over 1.2 billion Worth of rice, poultry meat alone we also import around the same figure. We can also stop importing flour in the future by doing massive maize,yam, plantein and cassava farm and import some and use some as flour to make bread and pastries. Industries will also need some of the starch for manufacturing purposes.

We should also set and and train the youth in laundry so they can wash and clean the uniforms for the military,police ,fire, immigration,prison, nurses, and many more just to creat employment. We should plant trees and green grass along all drive ways and Walkways to prevent irusion another form of creating employment

The good thing about what ksm said is that all the factories he talked about, JDM has done it before. And he have to focus on poultry too.

Even developed countries that are hard_core free market whatnot, nurture and protect local industries. Their procurement, especially the govt, is strategic. The contractors "know" they are expected/required to source locally manufactured products (sometimes universities/industries collaboration). That is how they got the silicon valley and their inventions, pharma and their discoveries, etc.

i think one thing KSM should know is that 24 hour economy is not a policy and can never be a policy. there are companies in Ghana that function 24 hours because the nature of the work demand that. So the question we should be asking is that which companies are going to be running 24 hours? Anyway no Cheddar no vote
